Job Description
We are looking for a senior full-stack/backend web developer to join our team. You will work with our devs and designers to improve our dev capabilities in the areas of server management, sustainability, accessibility, and performance. You'll help us significantly enhance our site speeds, transition to renewable energy servers, and make our sites more energy/carbon efficient—improving our websites for both users and the planet.
Your role:
You will not need to have all the answers on day one. Still, you will be passionate and driven in researching, planning, and implementing significant improvements to our website building processes. You will be a good problem solver, able to think laterally and creatively.
Alongside research, you will work with the dev team to build, test, and publish WordPress and Shopify websites for our diverse client base. You may be required to work directly with our clients, attend meetings, and explain complex development challenges and solutions in an accessible and understandable manner.
We are looking for people with an interest in the kinds of clients and projects that Rabbit Hole work with (music, architecture, arts & culture).
