Job Description

Big Active is an award-winning creative consultancy and production company representing leading image makers, illustrators, animation directors and content creators. Our ‘artist first’ approach sees us work with a network of creatives based all over the world in territories including the USA, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Japan and the UK.

We are looking for an agent / producer with three - five years of experience in an agency or with a creative production background.

The projects we produce are broad and varied including everything from luxury brand films and licensing deals to public art and global music campaigns.

Mandatory requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can handle all aspects of project management; from responding to enquiries to delivery of final artwork.
  • Demonstrates a keen interest in visual arts.
  • Will work closely with our artists and clients to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Can generate estimates, proposals, handle contract negotiation, usage rights, liaising closely with our accounts team.
  • Takes a proactive approach to marketing and promotion, including social media planning and regular updates of the agency website.
  • Will operate as an agency ambassador, supporting new business and business development with proactive industry relationship building; including arranging regular face to face and/or virtual portfolio meetings.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication with strong networking skills.
  • Is proficient in MacOS /iOS/ social media platforms, Excel, Google Workspace and Adobe CS.

We want someone to join the team who is honest, diligent and highly organised. We need a safe pair of hands who will work hard as part of the team and strive to hold the detail on projects on behalf of the artists and agency.

Joining our core team, we are looking for a self starter who is comfortable handling a breadth of 20+ jobs at any one time.

You will need to have a good creative eye, demonstrate industry insight, show excellent written, organisational and communication skills and have a positive approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.

We want you to be proactive and outgoing, professional, calm under pressure, adaptable and approachable.

Some motion production experience is desirable.

We are happy to offer a hybrid working arrangement but would expect our new starter to be based in the King’s Cross, London office.

Hours: Monday - Friday (with some occasional, limited out of hours working)
