Job Description

INK is an award-winning creative production studio with offices in London, Paris, Amsterdam

and New York, known for pushing boundaries across Stills, Motion, and CGI for the world’s

most iconic brands.

We are seeking an experienced Studio Director to lead our New York studio

across stills and motion. This pivotal role oversees daily studio operations, team

management and client relationships, ensuring INK delivers world-class creative and

technical excellence across all post disciplines, including Retouching, Edit, Colour, VFX, CGI

and Online.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-production, a deep understanding

of fashion, beauty and luxury clients as well as proven leadership skills in managing both

people and projects. You’ll play a key role in shaping INK’s growing US presence as well

fostering collaboration between creative, production and client service teams.

As Studio Director, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and grow our New

York post-production hub, shaping the next chapter of INK’s creative evolution in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the New York post-production studio across Stills and Motion, maintaining a supportive, organised and inspiring environment.
  • Manage and support a multidisciplinary team, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality output across Retouching, Edit, Colour, VFX, CGI and Online.
  • Lead client relationships, understanding brand expectations and ensuring projects meet creative and commercial goals.
  • Work closely with INK Leadership to maintain creative consistency and operational alignment, ensuring information, updates, and learnings flow effectively between New York and London, Paris & Amsterdam.
  • Drive resource planning, scheduling and budgeting to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Support new business and growth opportunities, contributing to INK’s positioning in the US market.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing studio culture that reflects INK’s values of shared learning, collaboration, innovation and excellence.
  • Uphold compliance, safety and operational best practices.
  • Contribute to studio reporting, forecasting and business development where relevant.
  • Represent INK in client, artist and industry interactions.

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in post-production, across both stills and motion.
  • Strong understanding of the creative and technical processes involved in retouching, colour, edit, CGI and finishing.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams within a fast-paced studio or production environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the fashion, beauty and luxury sectors as well as their creative expectations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised, commercially minded and calm under pressure.
  • A passion for image-making and delivering exceptional creative work.
