Job Description

Please note: This is not a hybrid or remote role. Only applicants located in Málaga or with the willingness to relocate will be considered. This role is full-time, 5 days per week and is based in our studio in Málaga, Spain.

We provide forward-thinking ideas, creative strategy, creative direction and production management from concept to execution for a wide range of project types – primarily brand campaigns and experiences (physical and digital).

About the Studio Manager role.

  • A minimum of 5+ years experience in project management / production for creative agencies or brands.
  • Proven experience managing very complex timelines, budgets and deliverables.
  • Strong industry knowledge and experience managing a creative process from concept to execution that includes: client management, photography / motion / illustration production, event / retail production.
  • Large network of production + creative partners.
  • Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Responsible for ensuring that briefs are effectively and efficiently managed from a team resourcing and planning POV.
  • Internal resource planning for the studio (within & across projects). Maximize people’s time to support across projects / studio work. Oversee freelancer availability to ensure projects are properly resources from beginning to end.
  • Support with recruiting / hiring / building the talent pool for project specific needs.
  • Support with onboarding new team members.
  • Support PM / Producers with team expenses and travel booking when necessary.
  • Support with early client conversations to have a production team member present and begin the project kick off process of creating timelines, resource planning and coordinating internal resources.
  • Oversee project managers & producers and provide support and guidance where needed. Help to ensure consistency, quality and that things are done inline with Free Practice processes.
  • Help facilitate a smooth running studio culture from a team energy and logistics POV in our Málaga office and with remote team members.
  • Manage the logistics of a smooth running office, coordinating supply restocking and various other tasks as they present themselves.
  • Support PM / Producers with team expenses and travel booking when necessary.
  • Support Creative Directors + Director of Operations with internal projects.
  • Help build the culture and support to evolve the internal processes that allow the studio to grow and function with precision.
  • Support with holiday cover and be the POC when various PM / Producers or Director of Operations are not available.
  • Occasionally take on the role of Producer / Project Manager for a project when the work load of the project is very minimal and not demanding from a client management POV.
