Job Description

About Lapse

Today’s social media giants compel us to curate our lives for likes from strangers and to compete with friends for followers. We’ve been so caught up in that game, we forgot the real reason we signed up in the first place.

Taking and sharing photos wasn’t always like this. Remember photos before smartphones? Point & shoot. No edit. No review. Nothing between you and the moment.

Drawing inspiration from film photography, we’re building the next generation of that experience. Rethinking the way we take and share photos with our friends. Creating a space focused on enjoying the moment and sharing your real life with your real friends.

More on why we built Lapse on our blog →

We are the #1 most downloaded Photo & Video app in the USA & Canada. Millions of memories get captured everyday on Lapse, and we’re quickly becoming the default camera of choice for Gen Z. We have raised $40M in funding from some of the world's top VCs including Greylock, Google Ventures & DST.

Have hands on experience building or shaping design processes and design systems at scale

Take fast-paced environments and tight deadlines in your stride
