Who we are looking for:
A Senior Motion Graphic Designer with a passion for telling compelling, visually interesting stories. This role will bring client stories and messages to life by combining motion graphics, animation, design and video into standout visual and media experiences that engage, excite and educate audiences.
The ideal candidate is an intelligent storyteller and dynamic creative who is excellent to work with, likes to learn, is a people person, and has the skills to think laterally and conceptually to bring briefs to life through standout visual executions. You are someone with exceptional skills in, and a demonstrated passion for, design, as well as a point of view on how concepts translate into images.
You will have worked in digital marketing or advertising for at least seven years, preferably in an agency setting, and will have proven experience in concepting. You are comfortable working independently and are able to take a concept from idea right through to execution.

What you’ll do:
Distil, decode and deconstruct creative briefs into visual concepts
Storyboard, design, animate and create standout design and animations across formats and platforms
Work in a multi-disciplinary team with writers, editors, videographers and a client services team
Generate and pitch great ideas / concepts that are on strategy and adhere to visual guidelines
Lead and mentor teams of creatives and junior designers
Determine which media and design elements to use to support concepts and tell compelling stories
Independently execute approved concepts on time, on budget and to a high standard
Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery, including that of junior design colleagues
Collaborate, document and communicate proactively throughout the work cycle
Review content, incorporate feedback and ensure work meets agency standards
Demonstrate a learning mindset and stretch the boundaries of the craft each day, sharing trends and formats with colleagues
Constantly strive for new, better and more innovative solutions
What you’ll bring:

7+ years of professional experience
Expert in motion graphics and animation is mandatory
A strong base in graphic design principles
Illustration skills (especially digital, vector-based) a must
Strong portfolio and showreel showcasing a clean design aesthetic
Expert fluency on a Mac platform Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects
Knowledge of 3D tools and software a plus (e.g. Cinema4D, Blender, Maya)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience using collaborative team communication and project management applications Trello & MS Teams to ensure efficiency
