Senior Designer / Midweight Designer

Clout are looking for up to two full-time designer’s with a minimum of 2 years and maximum of 8 years experience to work out of our Cardiff Bay studio.

We are open to flexible working but would require individuals to work out of our studio for a minimum of 3 days a week or for longer where work dictates.

Senior Designer

Full-time, studio based/WFH/flexible

A great opportunity for someone with 6-8 years of industry experience, gained at respected brand/design agencies, who is now looking for a new challenge with greater responsibility and the chance to play a key role in the future growth of an agency.

What we're looking for:

• motivated to do work that is progressive, that will raise the bar
• can demonstrate a clear thought-process with great ideas, meticulous craft and attention to detail
• has a solid understanding of brand strategy and how it informs creativity
• experienced in designing brand identities that are seamlessly applied across print and digital communications and creating and working with brand guidelines
• skilled in getting the most from a creative brief and steering the direction of thinking
• highly organised, proactive, can plan and prioritise work and can confidently guide others
• switched-on to the world around them, passionate and curious
• a confident communicator and presenter who is able to help build and enhance client relationships
• proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• experience of designing for web, with a solid working process
• motion design experience would be an advantage, but not a necessity
• has a relevant design degree i.e Graphic Design/Communication.

Midweight Designer

Full-time, studio based/WFH/flexible

A role suited to an ambitious designer with 2-4 years of industry experience gained at a respected brand/design agency, who is now looking for their next move.

What we're looking for:

• motivated to do work that is progressive, that will raise the bar through brilliant ideas, meticulous craft and attention to detail
• solid understanding of the creative process and experience in brand identity design and implementation across print and digital communications
• proven experience of delivering high quality design concepts from initial brief to production ready artwork
• a confident communicator and presenter who can articulate their ideas with clarity, and likes to challenge (in a good way)
• is positive, enthusiastic and collaborative and is happy to take on board constructive feedback and direction
• a curious creative mind who is committed to producing work of the highest quality
• proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• experience of designing for web with a solid working process
• motion design would be an advantage, but not a necessity
• has a relevant design degree i.e Graphic Design/Communication.
