HOTEL CREATIVE

Hotel is a world-renowned design studio based in Soho, London. We are known for creating artful and

deeply engaging retail and experiences for global sports and fashion brands, but our offering extends

to creative strategy, campaign conception, multi-media art direction and interior design. We strive for

creative excellence in everything we do, and value collaboration and long-term relationships over

short-term wins. We are seeking a similarly minded Account Director to help us shape the future of

the agency.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Account Director, you'll be a key player in our evolving client services team, responsible

for overseeing some of our established accounts. You will be a strategic partner to all

stakeholders, understanding client needs, and guiding our teams to deliver exceptional, high-

impact creative. You will also work closely with Hotel’s leadership team to nurture strategic

new relationships and opportunities, helping deliver carefully curated growth in line with our

company purpose and values. Managed directly by the MD, and supported by an Account

Executive, there is a clear and supported development path towards a senior client services

position within the company.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong, long-

term relationships.

+ Act as a trusted strategic advisor, identifying opportunities to elevate our output, and the

value we provide.

+ Work collaboratively with internal team members to define scopes, resource requirements

and cost estimates for projects.

+ Guide, galvanise and inspire our creative teams with insightful briefs that set them up for

success in delivering creative excellence.

+ Work closely with Project Managers and creative teams in order to manage, meet and exceed

client expectations.

+ Help nurture new relationships, identifying opportunities that align with our agency's purpose, values and

development strategy.

+ Lead presentations, effectively communicating our agency's unique value proposition and creative capabilities

to prospective clients.

+ Develop compelling proposals that outline project scope, strategy, and required investment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

+ You have at least 5 years of experience in client facing, account management roles, ideally

within a design / experience agency environment.

+ You have a demonstrable track record of managing high-value accounts in sportswear, fashion

or related lifestyle sectors.

+ You are an expert at building and maintaining relationships, an empath with a reliable

understanding of human nature and how to read, adapt to and manage client aspirations and

expectations.

+ You are design literate, with strong cultural awareness and a demonstrable taste level

+ You possess strong strategic business acumen and can translate client objectives into clear,

actionable creative briefs and strategies.

+ You are an articulate, confident and persuasive presenter, both in writing and in person. You

can build presentations, lead meetings, negotiate SoWs and contracts, inspiring confidence in

both clients and your team.

+ You are proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced but

supportive creative environment.

+ You have a genuine affinity for the brands that we work with, an informed appreciation for

high-end design and creativity, and are passionate about delivering exceptional work.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

+ Excellent written and Spoken English

+ Solid office software skills in standard platforms such as word, excel, google office

+ Proficient in building presentations in Keynote or similar software / platforms

+ Excellent timekeeping, reliable and trustworthy

+ Presentable; an ambassador for Hotel Creative

+ London based with indefinite leave to remain

+ Comfortable working in a studio environment full time. (There will be work travel but

this is a studio-based role, not hybrid).

NICE TO HAVE

+ Specific experience in retail and experience design

+ Additional languages particularly French, Italian or Mandarin
