Studio Manager
Job Description
Studio Manager responsibilities:
Main point of contact for the studio of the Photographer and Director Charlotte Wales. To act as the coordinator between Charlotte, Agent, Production companies, Photo assistants, Post production and Clients.
General office management:
Running studio office, stock upkeep, ensuring insurance, carnet etc is up to date.
Basic bookkeeping, tracking expenses and invoices with the support of an accountant.
Preparing reports of job related expenses to be billed back to clients.
Managing interns
Production:
Keeping a current list of freelance assistants and retouchers and liaising with them.
This role would not involve any booking of locations / models etc. but would be the point of contact for the studio to liaise with production companies, etc.
Ensure travel documents / cars etc are well prepared for Charlotte and Team. (These should be booked by production company)
Updating calendar daily based on info from agent and production companies.
Keeping press tears for Visa - assisting with the application for Global Visas, passports etc
Post production:
Managing post production schedules and liaising with clients and retouchers, motion editors, grade etc
Managing freelance retouchers.
Drawing up estimates with the support of Charlotte and Minititle for retouching and keeping track of any overages or underages during the post process.
Keeping relicensing archive, personal online archive, portfolio, Vimeo, models.com, and website up to date.
This role would be primarily office based but hours and days worked in the office could be flexible around childcare needs or similar.
This role would not include travel but when Charlotte is shooting in London it could be useful to come to set from time to time.
Required Skills:
Basic bookkeeping, very basic understanding of adobe creative suite a bonus.
