Job Description
Job Purpose
The B2B Email Marketing & Automation Coordinator is responsible for developing, executing, and optimising email marketing campaigns and automation strategies. The role requires set -up of automation, managing content (written and visual) and supporting digital marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Email Marketing Campaigns (primary focus – 75%)
• Working with provided content and existing templates, execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and automated sequences.
• Ensure email content is engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with brand messaging.
• Monitor email performance using analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Upland/Adestra) and optimise campaigns based on open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
• Manage and segment email lists to ensure effective targeting.
• A/B test email subject lines, content, and layouts to improve engagement.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other email marketing regulations.
2. Digital Campaign Support (secondary focus – 25%)
• Set up of website campaign landing pages as required.
• Plan and schedule engaging social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook as required.
• Manage social media calendars, ensuring alignment with current marketing campaigns as required.
• Track social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite) and adjust strategies to enhance engagement as required.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
3. Content
- Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Repurpose content for different platforms and audiences.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Generate reports on email and social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Identify trends in engagement, conversion rates, and audience behaviour.
- Present findings and optimisations to the wider team.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
✔ Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and experience with email platforms (preferably Upland/Adestra).
✔ Proven experience managing social media accounts and growing engagement.
✔ Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Later, or Buffer.
✔ Ability to analyse performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
✔ Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
✔ Understanding of social media algorithms and trends.
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Desirable Skills & Experience
➕ Experience in a marketing agency or digital marketing role.
➕ Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
➕ Familiarity with Google Analytics and UTM tracking.
➕ Experience working with B2B brands.
➕ Basic HTML knowledge for email formatting.
Qualifications
