About Studio BlueGreen
Studio BlueGreen is a not-for-profit creative studio reimagining how nature shows up in mainstream culture. Working across film, television, music and comedy, Studio BlueGreen tells nature stories through bold, entertainment-led formats designed to spark curiosity, conversation and connection. By presenting nature as quirky, cool and deeply inspiring, the studio is helping lead a narrative shift to bring nature back into everyday culture and support global conservation efforts.
Role
We are looking for a talented Videographer who can bring ambitious, creative ideas to life on screen. You will be responsible for shooting and editing video content for our social channels, translating concepts into striking, fun and engaging visual stories.
We have exciting plans for “always-on” content across TikTok and Instagram, alongside plans for a long-form weekly series on YouTube. You will also be attending wider shoots and events to create BTS and social formats. Pop culture is our medium; we are looking for somebody who is an enthusiastic and informed consumer of popular culture and trends. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role for someone who works well under pressure, takes feedback positively and is excited to help us evolve our creative output as we grow our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit high-quality video content for social channels. Comfortable operating a camera and simple lighting, alongside mobile when needed.
- Edit engaging short-form and long-form content, tailored to different platforms.
- Working with the team to identify cutdowns, mini edits and creative ways to make our assets work as hard as possible
- Sourcing content as necessary from stock libraries
- Participate in creative ideation sessions, helping to translate ideas to compelling visual stories
- Ensure content aligns with our studio’s brand, mission and tone
- Collect and action feedback from colleagues in the editing process
- Contribute to ideas to help grow audience reach and engagement
Essential Skills
- Proven experience shooting and editing video for social platforms
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software
- Experience of working with stock libraries
- Strong visual storytelling skills with sharp creative instincts
- Solid understanding of camera operation, lighting and sound
- Comfortable working under pressure to sometimes tight deadlines
- Open and positive about receiving feedback and always trying to improve
