Job Description

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. It drives us. And it inspires our Communications team to find ever-more creative ways to promote our work and share how people can get involved in making a difference to children’s lives.

We’re looking for a midweight/senior designer with a great portfolio who wants to join our award winning in-house team.

You’ll have at least 3 years design experience in an agency or in-house team, and be enthusiastic, creative (of course) and have a passion to help fight for every childhood.

In your role you’ll contribute to the creation of all materials we produce from brief to artwork and delivery, working on online and offline projects for teams from right across the organisation. You’ll act as an NSPCC brand guardian, identifying where materials can be updated or improved, and offer creative advice, consultation and brand expertise across the rest of the charity.

You’ll also be responsible for creating and encouraging conceptual ideas within the team on a strategic level, including; brainstorming, sketching and verbalising ideas. And you’ll oversee and guide the work of junior designers and interns, helping jobs go smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll have your finger on the pulse of current design and marketing trends, especially within the charity sector.

In return you’ll get to work with a friendly bunch of creatives and brand experts who all work together to create outstanding work.

There’s also 29 days holiday a year, free membership of creative groups and networks, a great pension, life assurance and discounts on gyms, restaurants and other attractions.

Join us and you’ll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You’ll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you’ll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
