Mid-Weight Designer

The Job

In the role as primary creative in our new team, you would be responsible for supporting the senior designer and producing high quality, innovative design solutions across a range of formats. Your role will be involved in initial ideation and creation of multiple concepts through to preparing print/production and digital ready files for a range of exciting brands predominantly across the premium hospitality sector.

Success in this role is working closely with the senior designer and leading on the production of a real variety of work whilst becoming engaged in the industry, so you are able to suggest forward thinking and sustainable solutions for our exciting range of clients.

You will need:

• Full command of the creative cloud big hitters
• Good written and verbal communication skills to convince the senior team and clients of your ideas.
• Mac proficiency
• Proven experience in both print and digital artworking and production files
• Ability to follow and interpret brand guidelines accurately and innovatively
• Self-initiative with the ability to work quickly and independently as well as part of a close team
• The desire to train and ability to brief and lead with junior creatives and freelancers
• A staunch passion for sustainability and inclusivity across all aspects of what you do
• A very strong ability for presentation design and a healthy respect for typesetting
• Comprehensive ability in image management and retouching
• Comprehensive print knowledge and desire to seek out latest materials and techniques

It would be perfect if you also have:

• Experience in video editing and or animation
• An interest in cocktail and bar culture
• Experience in social media design and strategy
