Job Description
We’re looking for a Brand Designer with a high-level motion skillset to join the studio on a freelance basis. This role is firmly rooted in branding, with motion design as a critical and well-developed secondary capability.
Who you are
A brand-led designer with a refined aesthetic sensibility and the ability to translate identity systems into dynamic, expressive motion. You think strategically about brands first — their positioning, tone and visual language — and use motion to extend and elevate those ideas across digital touchpoints, campaigns and environments.
Your motion work is polished, considered and purposeful, with a strong grasp of pacing, typography in motion and visual storytelling. While motion is essential, any experience in 3D is considered a bonus rather than a requirement. Experience within the luxury sector is key, ensuring alignment with the studio’s client base and output.
Core requirements
- Strong branding background with proven experience designing visual identities and brand systems.
- High-level motion design capability; motion is a baseline requirement for this role.
- Excellent command of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite; Figma proficiency expected.
- Ability to translate static brand assets into sophisticated motion applications.
- Portfolio demonstrating branding work supported by high-quality motion outcomes.
- Experience working with luxury, fashion, cultural or premium global brands.
- Highly organised, self-directed and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
- Bonus for 3D experience (Cinema 4D or Blender), though not essential.
- Fluent in English.
