This role entails…

We have a unique and wide remit, delivering brand events and experiences for ITV colleagues, B2B events for clients and advertisers, B2C events for brand partners, as well as activations for our Press and Marketing teams. The team is based within the Media and Entertainment Division in Group Marketing, but leads projects across ITV.

As Senior Project Manager you will have a lead responsibility across key business areas , managing senior stakeholders, event strategy, overseeing project delivery and budgets. You will manage both direct reports and indirect reports on a project basis.

You will play a key role in planning and executing event activity in line with ITV’s overall strategy and be a motivating presence, enabling the ITV Experiences team to deliver outstanding experiences whilst championing a strong, supportive team culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall management responsibility for the roster of new and recurring events within your assigned key business areas.
  • Planning, steering and developing event strategy to meet wider business objectives.
  • A hands-on approach will be required for flagship projects in your key areas (e.g the major Commercial event of the year, ITV Palooza) and to develop new event launches
  • Ownership and management of assigned business area and project budgets: including budget submissions, tracking, project reconciliation and end of year reporting.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Play a key role in developing and maintaining a strong and supportive team culture within ITV Experiences,
  • Line management of 2 x Projects Managers plus 1/2 Project Coordinator(s)
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments and bring new ideas to the team to evolve our work

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria:

  • Proven people and line management abilities, able to motivate and drive results
  • Must have extensive experience delivering a diverse portfolio of events
  • Track record of outstanding event production management with good production expertise relating to design, build, AV, lighting etc
  • Experience planning and delivering virtual and hybrid events and managing virtual platforms
  • Experience managing event health & safety, risk assessments and contracting
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Extensive experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and senior management
  • Solid budget and financial management experience
  • Extensive venue knowledge in the UK, especially London

The Key role criteria is as follows:

  • Ideally experience in a large corporate in-house and/or from an events agency. Broadcast/media/brand experience an advantage.
  • A confident communicator, with the gravitas to lead, influence and steer project stakeholders, manage ITV talent and VIPS and be an ambassador for the team
  • Highly organised and motivated with first class project management skills.
  • Flawless attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for evolving our work and finding new ways to creatively bring the ITV brand to life
  • A proactive, solution driven approach with the ability to preempt potential risks and challenges and find appropriate solutions.
