The Sony Music Internship is a 12 month paid music industry placement scheme. During your time at Sony Music you will work alongside some of the most talented creative teams and gain an in depth understanding of a specific department at Sony Music UK. What are the different opportunities?

We have creative opportunities in 4th Floor Creative in the Design team and in Video Production. In these roles, you will work in a centralised team that collaborate with all of Sony’s labels to conceptualise and develop creative ideas for artist campaigns and digital initiatives. 4th Floor Creative are a fast-moving and lively team and they are looking for committed, team players to bring their creative ideas to life for Sony Music.

Day to day you will report into a specific department and have your own projects and responsibilities. Over the 12 months, there is also a programme of interactive workshops where you will get to network with senior music execs and learn more about life at a major record company. The internship also comes with a few perks!

Things to note:

• We do not require you to have a degree or qualification in order to apply for the internships but you do need to be over 18.
• The start date for the programme will be in January 2022
• We will get back to you on the status of your application by September 2021.
• There will be 3 rounds of interviews to complete from September to November, the recruitment process will be a mixture of virtual and in person interviews, but this will be determined by Covid restrictions and government guidelines at the time of interview.
