As a mission-driven company, we know it takes a great team to build the future, and we are committed to providing the best structure, resources and quick thinking to help achieve our collective goal. Exciting times lie ahead as we expand into new regions, build new products and create the next generation of tools to help the art world move online—join us!

About the role

As a Client Liaison - Database Specialist your main responsibilities are centered around our flagship database product. This role focuses on setting up accounts, onboarding clients through various import processes and helping new clients familiarise themselves with our products. Additionally, the role involves providing ongoing support to existing clients across all products and working closely across teams to process client feedback and implement new development. All of this is undertaken as part of a supportive, global client liaison team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of client-facing experience in the art world. We need someone who is a natural communicator and passionate about client services, art, and technology.

About you

  • An enthusiastic, self-starter who thrives on human interactions and has a desire to help people and find the best solution possible using your training, knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about technological advancements with a high degree of computer literacy and experience with art world-specific software. Knowledge and familiarity with FileMaker systems and ArtBase is highly desired.
  • Able to work calmly under pressure towards the goal of resolving support requests.
  • Able to bring significant art world experience to the team while applying established customer relationship management skills to your new role.
  • Meticulous project management skills, ability to juggle multiple complex projects with staggered deadlines.
  • Methodical in helping test systems, troubleshooting issues and finding answers or suggesting workarounds to help our clients reach their goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Setting up and delivering database accounts once sales have been confirmed. This will involve cross-team collaboration and communication with technical and sales teams.
  • Providing training to new and existing clients or offering screen sharing sessions to help familiarise clients with the products as they get setup.
  • Helping clients with imports from other Artlogic products and services
  • Assessing our current systems and contributing to streamlining process, refining client-facing aspects of the product and saving time where possible. This is facilitated by regular meetings with managers and members of the UK-based website development team.
  • Creating help notes and, in due course, hosting webinars for our products to help us build up our self-service resources for our clients.
  • Handling email and phone support related to the full range of Artlogic products. Support provides an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of our products and develop your communication skills while getting to know a large number of clients. Support is managed via a team rota and established lines for escalating client queries are also in place.

In due time:

  • Managing bespoke data migration projects to bring new clients on from competitor systems
  • Becoming a dedicated point of contact for our larger clients
  • Cross-team projects to roll out new database development

What we offer

  • 35 days of annual leave (including holidays) plus long service entitlement.
  • Flexible working
  • Health, dental & vision benefits
  • 401k retirement plan
  • A focus on continued professional development including access to courses and training programs
  • Regular team and whole company social events
