Job Description
Blink Productions (blinkprods.com), the highly awarded commercial production company, is seeking an outgoing, well connected & ambitious directors rep. The Rep will work closely with Blink’s Executive Producers to generate new business leads. They will have the ability to establish relationships with creative teams/ ECDs & agency producers, in order to find and bring in the best scripts that are out in market. At the same time they will have a keen eye for talent, a solid understanding of the advertising landscape and above all an intuitive understanding of what is good directing.
Responsibilities
Always be developing & maintaining relationships with advertising agencies & brands.
Finding opportunities and matching them with directors.
Presenting directors reels to agencies & brands.
Ensuring emerging talent on the roster are being seen by appropriate creative teams.
Research industry news & account developments.
Collating custom director reels.
Strategic thinking, to ensure a targeted approach to sales.
New talent research & connecting with emerging directors.
Assist with PR for launches of new work & directors.
Explore non-traditional advertising opportunities.
Regular reporting to the EP’s & wider Blink management team.
Attending industry events and other networking opportunities.
Creative input into treatments & pitching.

Ability to manage own time productively.
Key Requirements
At least two years experience working in production/ agency or similar.
New Business or Sales Experience.
While production experience is ideal, we are happy to consider candidates who may have come from different areas e.g agency world or post production. Depending on the candidates level of experience and the network they bring, we would consider flexible working.
SALARY
Basic salary and commission structure dependent on experience.
