We are looking for a Senior Studio Manager & EA who will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of the creative studio supporting 40-50 (and growing) employees. This role requires a strong understanding of IT management, facilities and operations across different departments in the group. Whilst the main focus of the job will be on Studio Management, some EA duties will be required for the 2 Co-CEO’s of the group. You will be working closely with the Studio Team that consists of the HR Manager and Team Assistant.

Ideal Candidate

  • Has at least 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally in an agency or creative environment
  • Has a strong understanding of the needs and requirements of a creative studio which runs over x4 businesses.
  • Is able to prioritise their workload to meet the deadlines and needs of the studio
  • Is a keen problem solver with the ability to come up with solutions to issues and tasks within the studio both independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable working under pressure at busy times
  • As a key member of the studio an enthusiastic, positive attitude and being a strong communicator is essential.
  • Keen to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong IT knowledge to support the needs of the studio (phones, mobiles, printers, internet, computers & laptops, TV’s, server and cables).
  • Strong experience and understanding of Apple Mac hardware and software and Google G Suite for business.
  • Ability to liaise and outsource contractors and external services
  • Willingness to take on more responsibility with projects as the company grows. This will enquire initiative and forward planning.
  • Can-do attitude who can foresee challenges and know how to tackle them
  • Passionate about diversity, equality, inclusion and sustainability is a big plus
  • Management experience is desired but not essential

Tasks

  • Strategic oversight of studio management
  • First point of call for all troubleshooting and IT issues
  • Responsible for managing and organising software licensing for all staff
  • Looking after studio supplies, budgets and overseeing contracts
  • Managing studio projects through to completion (renovations, office moves, studio improvements etc)
  • Overseeing Insurance, Health & Safety, Keys & Alarms, utilities and storage
  • Be the main point of contact for any issues relating to the physical studio space
  • Organising studio activities and events with the studio team
  • Management of all studio equipment
  • Working closely with the HR Manager on onboarding and offboarding
  • Making sure all studio processes are compliant with GDPR
  • Working closely with the HR Manager on Diversity, Equality & Inclusion initiatives as well as best sustainability practices
  • Cultural champion, you protect the HBG culture, purpose and values of the group
  • Ensuring an inclusive, brilliant and safe working environment for all staff
  • Managing and delegating tasks to the Team Assistant
  • Collaborating closely with the studio team (HR Manager & Team Assistant)
  • Minimal EA support to the 2X Co-CEO’s - Expenses filing, some diary management and high level correspondence

Details

  • Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 depending on experience
  • Reporting into: Senior HR Manager
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am — 5pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Unit 1, 25 Downham Road, London N1 5AA, UK
 - This role is based within the studio with many of the team still working remotely
