We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Creative Food & Events Coordinator to join our team at a busy contract catering site in Liverpool Street. As a Creative Food & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and coordinating unique culinary experiences and events for our client that leave a lasting impression on their employees. Your role will be a perfect blend of foodie creativity, innovation, and excellent organisational skills.

Location: Liverpool Street

Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday

Salary: 32K- £35 depending on experience

Personal profile:

  • A huge passion for food and a strong understanding of food trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and team members effectively.
  • Proven experience in foodie event planning and coordination, with a track record of aiding in the running of successful, creative foodie events (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, are desirable.
  • A real team player capable of working collaboratively in a close-knit team, whilst also being capableof taking initiative to bring their own original creative ideas to life.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Flexibility is key – you must be able to think fast and adapt to unexpected changes quickly.
  • Enjoy working with clients, customers and building relationships with external suppliers.
  • Prior experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not mandatory as long as you live and breathe food!

Overview

Vacherin is a boutique London-based contract caterer. We operate 100 contracts on behalf of our prestigious business and industry clients within the sectors of property, finance, law, and media. The Creative Food & Events Coordinator is based at the client site and leads on creating a best-in-class service to the staff for the client, through ensuring a constantly evolving catering program.

Main duties

The following is a list of duties and responsibilities:

Delivery of our Internal Marketing Calendar – Development and implementation of this

key Vacherin marketing tool to encourage consistent engagement with our customers. This involves sourcing and implementing creative, eye-catching décor for theme days, sourcing vendors and specialist suppliers for niche food products and collaborating with the chefs to bring their menus to life with creative flair.

Sourcing and negotiating with external ‘pop up’ suppliers – Utilising social media and in-person site visits to street food markets and the like to identify potential suppliers for the client to incorporate into its schedule of ‘pop ups’. Negotiate with agreed suppliers and facilitate the logistics involved in engaging their services at The Client site

Events – Support the onsite team with internal/external events as required. In addition to this, you will play an active role in the creation and delivery of Vacherin-led onsite events and functions.

ROI – To monitor and report on the success of all marketing initiatives through consumption reporting, marketing trackers, cost trackers.

Standards – To monitor standards of all marketing/look and feel activities and ensure that Vacherin’s high standards and creative flair are upheld.

Trade Shows and High Street ‘Foraging’– To attend industry trade shows as required and report back to the client on innovation and trends. To get out onto the high street on a weekly basis to see what’s new and exciting – bring back samples for the team to try, brainstorm ways to integrate exciting finds into our food offering with the chefs.

Communication- To ensure all internal and external communication is professionally presented.

Communicate effectively with all members of the Vacherin and the client teams as appropriate.

Liaise regularly with the General Manager regarding agreeing targets, monitoring performance and agreeing actions
