You will lead the strategy, concept creation, curation, execution with support, and performance of all content, helping shape our brand voice and culture through storytelling that captivates and inspires.

We’ve led the way on our editorial style we want to continue to grow that across channels unused.

You will sit between the agency directors & all the team members to plan and manage which projects will be seen publicly. You will lead all external recourse when necessary (art working, product fulfilment on projects). Content should be constantly fed across all channels.

Manage yearly social media budget eg paid adverts, products (+ returns) etc.

Present two yearly ROI presentations to senior team leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a full role out of all social outputs from visual, editorial copy & interviews.

• Create a cohesive content and editorial strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and high-end editorial outlets (magazines and blogs).

• Align social and editorial storytelling with business objectives—including brand growth, awareness, community engagement, and differentiation.

• Curate & Create all shoots + interviews.

• Source, produce, and curate visually stunning and conceptually bold content—ranging from short-form TikTok moving image to long-form editorial features.

• Collaborate with design, creative production teams internally to understand which projects to publish and the details surrounding the brief, process and execution, partner with photographers, and external partners to elevate content quality, ensuring alignment with the agency directors vision of how we stay different.

• Platform Mastery - we’ve already curated the best in our industry in terms of visual appeal for luxury brands we want this same thinking across all channels.

• Tailor content narratives and formats to each platform’s culture and best practices—emphasising Instagram’s visual storytelling, TikTok’s dynamic short-form, and LinkedIn’s thought leadership and professional storytelling.

• Editorial Leadership - maybe we think about a Substack and monetise interviews, insights and observations within the industry.

• Develop editorial content concepts for high-end magazine features and blog partnerships (both digital and print).

• Pitch story ideas, craft narratives, and oversee collaboration with editorial teams to bring features to life. Eg Vogue, FT ‘HTSI, The Times etc.

• Community & Engagement - build this up within the markets we sit in so we can do more collaboration.

• Foster meaningful engagement across all platforms—build community, respond authentically, and nurture conversations.

• Leverage trends, analytics, and audience insights to optimise content performance and refine strategy continuously.

• Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms with precision and brand consistency.

• Track KPIs—likes, shares, reach, impressions, engagement rate, and a conversions—using analytic tools to inform iteration.

What You Bring / Requirements

• Proven experience (3–5 years minimum) in leading social media and editorial at a creative agency, luxury brand, or high-end lifestyle publication.

• Demonstrable track record across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn—with compelling campaign examples or case studies.

• Strong editorial sensibility: experience conceptualising or contributing to features in magazines, digital publications, or blogs.

• Self-starter mentality—obsessively curious, fearless in experimentation, and committed to elevating creative boundaries in line with our “tail to snout” thinking.

• Exceptional storytelling skills—strategic mindset with creative vision, and excellent command of tone, pacing, and audience resonance.

• Strong project management skills—able to juggle ideation, production schedules, calendars, stakeholders, and outputs efficiently.

• Analytical mindset—comfortable interpreting engagement data, refining strategy, and championing evidence-driven creative pivoting.

• Familiarity with brand impact or sustainability storytelling (an asset, given Black Ink Projects’ broader ethos).

• Experience working cross-functionally with design, research, strategy, and production teams.

• A personal aesthetic or editorial voice that aligns with bold, minimalist, and concept-driven visuals.
