Junior - Midweight Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Creative Director you will be expected to accurately create artwork from concept or client’s supplied files / instruction, follow client’s brand guidelines or design requirements, and ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for production according to the specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Meticulous attention for detail and a clean, creative design style.

Ensure that all work is completed to client guidelines.

Ensure artwork interpretation is achievable within production contraints.

Prepare accurate artwork from approved design and brief.

Ensure client guidelines are followed.

Responsibility for ensuring account / project managers are kept informed of the progress of the jobs they are working on, and any impact there is to the production plan.

Providing colour proofs / samples for client sign off.

To ensure that all images produced and proofed are correct and reviewed in accordance to the Artworks procedures.

The ability to work on multiple projects, big and small, simultaneously and good time management.

Other Responsibilities:

Pass new enquiries generated to the correct area of the business.

Assist projects through the business to ensure “on time in full” delivery. To liaise internally with projects, production and installation teams to ensure the job runs within agreed budgets.

To establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients of Artworks Solutions.

To understand and comply with all relevant company policies and procedures.

To promote and maintain a positive image of Artworks Solutions at all times.

Required

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the graphic design industry, an interest in commercial interiors is preferred

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.

Ability to work as a team.
