Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Graphic Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team in Clerkenwell.
You will work closely with our Practice Manager, Head of Graphics, Operational Manager and our external PR agency to maintain internal and external communications to maintain and grow our practice’s profile.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a keen interest in architecture and design and experience in marketing.
This is a varied role and an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, meticulous individual who enjoys collaborating across the Pilbrow & Partners team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting the Head of Graphics and architects to produce architectural diagrams and supporting infographics for presentation, report and submissions.
• Working with the Head of Graphics and architectural staff to build and submit awards entries and supporting the Head of Graphics in preparing bid documents, proposals, qualifications and credentials for prospective clients
• Creating content for Pilbrow & Partners’ website and social media channels
• Maintaining our image and information database (Open Asset) with the Head of Graphics and internal project leads
• Updating marketing collateral including practice booklets, staff CVs, practice handbooks and documents
• Taking photography and video of architectural models and internal and external events
• Fluency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
About you
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills; able to manage multiple projects, adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Good research skills, including the ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple reliable sources.
• A proactive approach to learning systems, processes and skills and an eye for detail and excellent editing, and proofreading skills
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, architecture, or similar
• Interested in a creative field such as architecture, spatial design and graphic design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Permission to live and work in the UK
