Kit Technician
Job Description
Ecstasy Of Gold Ecstasy of Gold is an independent filmworks, collaborating with agencies, brands and directors worldwide. With production, post and curated kit under one roof, we create elevated moving image for brands.
We are currently looking for full-time Kit Technician to take responsibility for our Phantom, Alexa and Raptor cameras, motion control robot, lighting and much more.
Main duties will include:
- Preparing and testing camera, lighting and production equipment for use by our in-house team and for hire
- Helping setup and being on-set for our own productions
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Delivering and collecting equipment
- Day-to-day storage and kit upkeep
- Auditing kit
- Booking in and out procedures
- Electrical knowledge and the ability to perform basic electrical repairs is beneficial but not essential
You should have experience working with kit in film/TV production, possibly with a hire-house or directly for a production company. You must have a full driving licence and be confident driving 3.5ton LWB vehicles in and around Central London.

The right person for the role will be reliable and self-motivated whilst possessing excellent attention to detail and be capable of ensuring that tasks are completed to the highest standard. You should be willing to learn new skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Long-term, the position will allow the successful candidate to diversify into new areas such as camera trainee, trainee spark etc.
The position available immediately and salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
