Store Assistant / Stationery Lover
Job Description
We are looking for a new Store Manager and Store Assistants to join our growing London team.
Happiness has many forms and new stationery is one of them. We are looking for happy people to join us for between two and five days per week (including weekends), with shifts at our flagship store in Chelsea and/or concession in King’s Cross. Our Chelsea store is situated on the beautiful Pavilion Road, five minutes walk from Sloane Square station. Our King’s Cross concession is in the stunning Coal Drops Yard development, inside the Wolf and Badger store.
A day in the shop involves all sorts. This could include talking to customers, sharing product knowledge, taking photos or creating stories for Instagram, demonstrating products, selling products, stock checking, processing deliveries of stationery (the best bit), restocking, cleaning, tidying, visual merchandising, answering the phone, wrapping orders, handwriting notes, tracking deliveries. It’s varied, fast-paced and fun!
Our Store Manager role would suit someone with a balance of creative and commercial acumen with an eagerness to learn about the running of a small retail business. Management experience essential.
So what are we looking for? We like working with people who are efficient and like to get things done to a high standard. We’re a small business so we all chip in with everything that goes on in a stationery shop. We adore people who will bring passion for our products, confidence, initiative and positivity to the store. You must be able to work at least one weekend day.
We’re a bunch of very friendly, knowledgeable, passionate people, all with an outside interest in creation of some kind, from knitting to illustration to weaving. Everyone brings great chat to the shop floor because they’re genuinely excited about creativity and probably a little bit obsessed with stationery. If this sounds like you then join our club.

Pay starts at £9.50 per hour for a part-time Sales Assistant role but is wholly dependent on experience. Please feel free to include an indication of your expectations in your application.
