About MakeGood
We are MakeGood – a brand and digital design agency committed to using great design for the greater good. Purposefully small, we’re led by creative directors Meg and Becky, along with our designer Bethan, and an extended team of technical and creative experts. We’re looking for our next team-mate, someone who shares our belief that the best design should be available to those making a positive impact.
We believe design isn’t just about looking good – it should make a difference. That’s why we choose to work with organisations in the clean tech, social impact, and innovation sectors that are working to change things for the better, for people and planet.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer who wants to use their skills for greater good.
You’ll join our close-knit team initially on a 12 month fix term contract. You’ll lead on the design of digital products – like apps, websites and content platforms – from early insight and strategy through to detailed wireframes and prototypes.
As a small studio, we work collaboratively and flexibly. You’ll have the space to take ownership of your work, the support to do it well, and the opportunity to shape the direction of our UX practice. We do prefer that we’re all in the studio together at least 3 days a week, as we find that’s when the best work happens – however we are flexible on this so long as we have plenty of opportunities to work together in person.
While this role is set up as a 4-day week (Monday–Thursday), we may be open to adjusting that slightly for the right person – whether you’re looking for fewer days or full-time hours. Please let us know if this is the case when you apply.
This is an employed role (not freelance), and includes benefits such as paid holiday, pension contributions, and a fair notice period.
