ABOUT US
We are a 23-strong creative agency specialising in telling stories that improve people’s health. We create engaging and evocative content across all media and apply our creative thinking to everything from worldwide disease awareness campaigns for big pharma companies down to small conference stands for biotech start-ups. We work together to craft healthcare stories through branding, video and digital experiences that excite and inspire. Most importantly, everything we do is about improving human health: we love knowing that our work improves the lives of people we’ll never meet.
DESCRIPTION
We're seeking a full-time Junior Graphic Designer with at least 2 years experience (ideally within agencies) to work in our central London studio. You will have recent / current experience in a design position and have a portfolio that showcases creative thinking/concepts, design application, and final outcomes.
You should have an eye for detail, the ability to maintain a flexible approach to working across different types of projects both big and small and be a good communicator and collaborator both in-house and with our clients.
You will have the opportunity to learn and evolve your design skills while working on a variety of projects, including the research and development of concepts, design application across branding, campaign, print, infographics, digital and social media, artworking, and seeing projects through to final production. The right candidate should be bursting with ideas and want to be part of a highly creative and driven team striving to create content that inspires. You will get support and training as well as encouragement to express your thoughts and ideas.
If you have a proven portfolio and you're looking for an opportunity to flex your creative muscles, we'd love to hear from you.

- The ability to work simultaneously across multiple projects
- Proficiency in the three main Adobe Creative Suite applications: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; Figma, Canva and PowerPoint
- The drive and determination to enhance your skillset and software proficiencies
- An interest in understanding the current benefits and limits of AI tools within design software and our workflow, and an appetite to experiment with it to discover where it can and can’t make our own work better.
- An understanding of the principles of good UI/UX in design
NICE TO HAVE:
- Illustration skills
- Familiarity with 3D software to help bring assets to life
- Ability to create animations in Adobe After effects
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Pension scheme with matching employer contributions (up to value of 5% of overall salary)
- Health and dental insurance without additional cost
- An environment where we’re always looking to push boundaries and produce the best outcome
- A hybrid structure – we’re in our studio 3 days per week with flexibility on your working hours (10-4 being our core hours)
- 24 days holiday per year, on top of bank holidays with an extra day for each 2 years of service
- Full health and emergency dental cover
- Structured discovery days to expand your skillset
- A fun, collaborative team within a company that cares about making a positive impact, offsetting our carbon footprint, donating to charities
- Annual team away days and regular team socials
- Free tea, coffee and snacks in the office, and a breakfast club weekly
You will be working most closely with our Art Director, Digital Director, Account/Project Directors and other members of the design team. With that said, we are a tightly-knit group and always encourage ideas and collaboration across all departments.
You'll need to have a portfolio of work that showcases your skills and interests in design. Please make it easy for us to access this portfolio within your application.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, then you're probably our kind of person. And if you’ve read this far down the ad we invite you to put ‘THOROUGH’ in capitals somewhere in your cover letter (first word is fine!)
IMPORTANT INFO 1: AVAILABILITY
We’re looking to fill this role soon; if your current notice period is over eight weeks, it’s probably not going to be possible. Candidates should be free for interview in the days after submitting their CVs.
