Job Description

The role

You’re a mid-weight digital designer with a UI focus who has couple of great projects under your belt.

You can turn a big creative concept into a seamless user experience and know how to design for scale and durability. You’re a champion for the end-user.

You’re passionate about UI design systems and best practice. And you like to collaborate with creative, UX and dev specialists who care about this as much as you do.

Key Skills and Qualities

  • Passion for digital design. A cracking portfolio of conceptual and crafted design across platforms. Work demonstrates an ability to experiment, develop and resolve authentic creative outputs. Being able to see a website design through to build completion is a must.
  • People person. Comfortable working as a team and taking part in workshops and client meetings. Able to flex and work within any industry, with any type of client.
  • A presenter. Ability to communicate ideas clearly (both visually and verbally) with both internal and external presentations.
  • Independent thinker. Constantly curious and able to challenge a brief with new thinking and progressive ideas.
  • Technical toolkit. Strong core digital program knowledge across Sketch, Figma, InVision, XD. Fully up-to-speed with the latest trends in digital design and development. Any motion and front end dev a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Championing our creative philosophy. Generating brave creative ideas with strong conceptual insight.
  • Core part of the team. Working with entire team across a project from project managers to content strategists, UX to inhouse/offshore developers.
  • Being culturally connected and aware of the world around you. Understanding trends, attending events and exhibitions.
  • Taking ownership over projects. Hitting deadlines, collaborating with wider project teams, presenting to clients.
  • Actively contribute to MSL culture and values. Live our values and take initiative to do.
