As a growing studio, right by the pier in the beating heart of Brighton, we are seeking a talented and experienced Midweight or Senior Motion Designer to join the ranks and take that next step in their creative career.
Position Summary: As a Midweight or Senior Motion Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, visually engaging, and impactful motion graphics for a wide range of clients and projects.
Hybrid Role (Minimum 3 studio days per week) - We are currently taking applications from both Full time and Part time applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Creative Director, taking briefs and crafting concepts
- Overseeing projects, proactively ensuring creative direction remains on track
- Storyboarding, ranging from quick scamps through to detailed final frames
- Collaborating with and directing the wider creative team
- Designing and animating engaging, high-quality graphics and visual effects for use in commercials, social media content, presentations, and more
- Stay up to date with the latest motion design trends and techniques, and bring new and innovative ideas to the table
- Mentor junior motion designers and assist with their professional development
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a motion designer
- Proficiency in After Effects and/or Cinema 4D
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion design projects
- Competent design skills, including typography, colour theory, and composition
- Excellent time keeping and the ability to work under your own direction
- Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback into projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
