Job Description
Paid, part-time. Running to Christmas, with room to grow in the new year.
About us
Wild Tales is a community learning forgotten skills, taught live by the people who still know how. We want more people to feel capable in the physical world again. Our members learn fermenting, candlemaking, cider making and folklore together on Zoom each season, and meet in person for workshops and gatherings.
The role
We have so many stories we want to tell about craft and the incredible people who practice it, but no system to turn them into consistent content. You’ll build that system and run it every week. You’ll be the person who keeps the calendar, writes the scripts, briefs the editor and makes sure things go out. You’ve run a content calendar for a creator or brand before, and you can show what it achieved: views, follows, signups.
Who you’ll work with
Jack Harries (co-founder), Rory Oxenham (co-founder) and Matt Cannon (editor). Jack’s time is limited, so you’ll need to be proactive and make it easy for him.
Details
- Part-time and paid. You’ll shape the plan with us in your first session, so we’re not handing you a fixed list of deliverables.
- Location: Remote, with one or two in-person days a month in Cornwall/Devon, going through our archive with Matt, our editor.
