Edit Assistant (Post production)

Little Thief Studio is looking for a Post-production Edit Assistant to join our small team of passionate creatives and work with world-class clients.

Who are we:

We are a London-based multi-media creative studio specialising in end-to-end video content predominantly within sport.

The job:

The ideal candidate requires expert organisational skills, a fundamental understanding of video for social and digital platforms, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Based in-house at one of our client's North-West London offices, the Edit Assistant will oversee setup and technical requirements of the video edit suite to support our in-house Video Editors.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are ready for each days edit and maintain a consistent structure for file management
• Great technical competency and knowledge of various types of editing systems and their functions
• Create basic video edits and compilations

Requirements:

• Highly organised
• Good knowledge of video formats
• An understanding of video editing programmes such as Premiere Pro & Media Encoder is advantageous
• Open-minded, flexible and able to deal with people effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
• Willingness to learn more about digital sport content
