A bit about us:
Freddie Garland started delivering weekly flowers to his Mum and Dad’s neighbours in a knackered old electric milk float in 2015. We’ve come a long way since then and now work with over 250 fabulous people making deliveries to over 100,000 of our wonderful customers all over the U.K. This year we were proud to be certified Carbon Neutral by the Carbon Trust. The role
Our photography studio is the hub of creativity for Freddie’s Flowers to produce beautiful, commercial photography and video, so this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on the output across the UK and Germany. You’ll be an exceptional creative assistant with still life styling experience preferably having worked with flowers. You will be the key element to working within the team to keep all creative admin aligned and creative ideas and moodboard developments. Assisting the stylist on all stages of creativity from concept and storyboarding through to prop, location and model sourcing as well as flower orders and assisting in flower prep and styling! You’ll be proactive, and keen to help develop our creative output, working closely within the creative team and stylists to best prep and shoot ideas. You’ll be commercially styling savvy, extremely organised and have a keen eye for detail. We have huge plans for the future, so this is a very exciting time to join!
Must haves:
- 2 years minimum experience
- Enthusiasm to research ideas and get stuck in
- Your portfolio should demonstrate an impeccable eye for detail
- Knowledge and experience on styling particularly still life and flowers
- Social media savvy, assisting in developing imagery for organic feed and understanding upload systems.
- Organised working technique and file management of imagery
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and excel
- An interest in keeping up to date with competitors and current social and flower trends.
- Ability to work closely with others and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Good time management skills – flexible attitude and ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Ability to be proactive and take ownership of elements of projects when supporting our stylist..
- Approachable, collaborative, and open to ideas and feedback from others.
