DeepMatter Records is an independent record label based in London, releasing Jazz, Soul & Hip-Hop music. We’re home to some of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming independent musicians, from the exciting new Jazz scene across the UK and beyond. We believe in high standards across all of our music and we create high-quality visual assets that compliment our releases.

What will you be doing?

  • Working closely with our head creative and label manager to create assets for upcoming releases and general visual content across online platforms
  • Working with existing assets to create videos, animations and digital designs for use across artist and label social channels
  • Coming up with ideas and concepts for projects including; promo material, online assets, artwork, video ideas and more
  • Working to tight deadlines across multiple projects
  • Collaborating with our head creative and label manager throughout the project timelines

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a hungry and ambitious creative who is up to date with current trends and techniques and has a keen eye for detail.

Someone who has:

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Flexible attitude and drive to take responsibility in a fast-paced industry, whilst hitting deadlines
  • A strong desire to get stuck in and collaborate with new people
  • A clean and organised workflow

Our goal is to make this a fun and exciting new learning experience for you. You get to work closely with our founder and tight-knit team across various releases in our upcoming busy schedule. As a bonus, you’ll take away work for your portfolio, have access to our whole catalogue, free choice of all the DeepMatter merch, records and gig tickets. You will also get to work with some of the most exciting up-and-coming artists from the UK and beyond.

Our entire team is remote and we are happy for you to work flexibly from wherever you’re comfortable. The ideal candidate would be willing to travel to London and be able to meet with our Label Manager on a bi-weekly basis once we can work together safely again, where we’ll keep you topped up on coffee and beer!

This role is a 2-month internship, to begin with, however, there is a potential of extending the role after the 2 months.
