D&AD Masterclasses Creative Courses
According to D&AD, their Masterclasses are “creative courses that power up careers and future-proof businesses by focusing on the creative skills of tomorrow, taught by the stars of today”. Their training programmes are delivered on and offline, designed to help you acquire the skills and mindset to attain creative excellence.
Future London Academy
Future London Academy creates design events and short courses presented by famous designers, innovators and creative agencies for a senior creative audience. Programmes include Branding Now, a self-paced, online course on brand design and strategy for advanced learners, and the in-person, London-based Executive Programme for creative leaders with 15+ years of experience.
General Assembly
General Assembly specialise in education and career transformation against the backdrop of an increasingly technological world. What began as a co-working space in 2011 has since grown into a global learning experience with campuses in 20 cities and over 35,000 graduates worldwide, providing “award-winning, dynamic training to close the global skills gap”. Find specialist courses on coding, UX and design, data, marketing and business, as well as broader career development training.
Royal College of Art Short Courses
The RCA offers a diverse portfolio of online and on-campus short courses, summer schools and executive masterclasses for individuals and organisations spanning different disciplines and industry backgrounds. So whether a student or a seasoned professional, you’re sure to find a subject of interest. Upcoming courses include Design Thinking & Innovation in Collaboration with the Design Museum and Editorial Design with Adrian Shaughnessy and Astrid Stavro.
Typography Summer School
A week-long programme of typographic study for recent graduates and professionals, held in London (since 2010) and New York (since 2013). Typography Summer School was founded by designer Fraser Muggeridge who is a visiting lecturer at The University of Reading (since 2003) on the MA Book Design Course.

Accessible online courses for creative inspiration and learn-at-your-own pace skill building
Domestika
Domestika is a fast-growing creative community where creative experts share their knowledge and skills through professionally-produced online courses. Accessible and affordable, Domestika is a vast resource for “anyone interested in unleashing their creative potential and connecting with like-minded creatives from around the world”. Discover design-related courses from the likes of Pentagram’s Marina Willer, and Rejane Dal Bello.
MasterClass
MasterClass is a streaming platform offering hundreds of video lessons taught by “150+ of the world’s best”. Learn about creativity, leadership, storytelling and design from the likes of Es Devlin, David Carson, Annie Leibovitz, Diane von Furstenberg, RuPaul, Frank Gehry, Shonda Rhimes and David Sedaris.

Dark Angels
Want to improve – and enjoy – your writing at work? Dark Angels is a series of playful and collaborative writing workshops that give individuals and teams a chance to see the world differently and develop their communications skills in new ways.
Design Business Association
The DBA (Design Business Association) offers a range of training courses (at a discounted rate if you or your employer is a member) that will help you hone practical business skills in areas such as marketing, presenting, negotiating and client servicing — specifically tailored to those who work in the design industry. Online learning that is easy to access, bitesize and interactive.
DO Lectures
The DO Lectures started as a small weekend event in Wales for just 40 people. Over 14 years it has evolved and grown and now includes a vast library of free online talks, as well as online courses and in-person workshops that help people navigate business and life. The DO Book Co. also publishes useful and practical books by individuals who have spoken at DO.
RADA Business
RADA Business helps people at work become brilliant communicators. Building on their century-long reputation as one of the world’s most respected drama schools, they deliver training programmes and coaching for organisations and individuals. All profits support the activities of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, helping to develop the next generation of actors and technicians. Course topics include leadership, presentation skills and personal impact — alongside a training portfolio specially developed for women.
You Can Now
You Can Now is a training and development partner to organisations of all shapes and sizes.
