Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Assistant to support our creative studio. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the production process, ensuring projects run smoothly. You’ll be the “glue” that keeps things moving, whether it’s coordinating tasks, reviewing assets, assisting with equipment, or helping with content editing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background or strong interest in cinema, 3D, or creative arts who is eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production workflows by tracking tasks, reviewing submissions, and ensuring final renders and assets are delivered on time.
- Assist with studio operations and general office needs (organizing equipment, handling orders, scheduling, pickups, etc.).
- Carry out research tasks (e.g., sourcing equipment/vendors at the best price).
- Maintain & review project databases (e.g., Airtable) to ensure accurate information flow.
- Support team leads and artists by ensuring they have what they need to deliver projects.
- Provide light project management support, following up on tasks and communications.
- Assist with editing video content (Premiere, iMovie, or similar tools).
- Occasionally shoot or prepare simple content if needed.
Skills & Experience
- Experience or strong interest in cinema, 3D, creative arts, or digital production.
- Basic video editing skills (Premiere, iMovie, or similar).
- Familiarity with digital project management tools (e.g., Airtable, or equivalent).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proactive problem-solver who can take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Nice-to-have: experience with creative coding (Arduino, Processing, etc.)
Who You Are
- A self-starter who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-moving creative environment.
- Comfortable switching between big-picture coordination and hands-on detail work.
- Eager to learn and grow with the studio.
- Interested in creative technology and digital arts.
