Job Description

Based in Shoreditch, London, Reviva Softworks is a fully bootstrapped company that has grown into one of the UK’s leading app developers.

We create innovative apps that positively impact people’s lives, including

SnoreLab: The No.1 app for recording and tracking snoring and discovering solutions.

Sleepwave: A revolutionary motion-sensing smart alarm and sleep tracking app that wakes you up feeling fresh.

Motionscape: An immersive ASMR app that brings relaxing games, interactive breathwork and visual meditations to life with your movements.

About the role

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Junior UI Designer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating beautiful, user-centered digital experiences, with a strong focus on health and fitness apps and design systems. You’ll work closely with the Design Manager, UX Manager and App Manager to ensure our apps not only look amazing but also function seamlessly across platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Create high-quality designs for mobile applications, user interfaces and other digital platforms.
  • Build, manage, and maintain comprehensive digital design systems and component libraries in Figma.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to understand project goals and translate them into polished design solutions.
  • Review and QA app screens to ensure consistency, accuracy and adherence to design guidelines.
  • Produce responsive design variations for different screen sizes and platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Design icons, visual assets and data visualisations such as charts and graphs.
  • Maintain well-organised and up-to-date Figma files for easy team collaboration.
  • Manage and update screenshots for AppStore and Google Play Store, descriptions and localised assets.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in Figma, especially in managing and maintaining component libraries.
  • Medium to high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Solid understanding of digital design workflows and design systems.
  • Strong grasp of design principles including typography, colour, layout systems (e.g., 4pt grid) and responsive design.
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design practices.
  • Pixel-perfect attention to detail and high standards for visual quality.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating in live design sessions and open to constructive feedback.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with UX design concepts and processes.
  • Basic familiarity with front-end development concepts.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and conversion-driven design practices.
  • Interest in health, wellness and fitness-related apps.

If you feel as though you don’t meet all of the requirements listed but are still interested, we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

  • A collaborative and creative team environment.
  • On-site position in our vibrant Shoreditch, London office.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, mentorship and ongoing training.
  • 24 days annual leave.

More about us

Deciding which company to work for is a big decision, so here’s a little more about us and how we work.

  • The office: We're based in Shoreditch, London, in a beautiful new office space just a short walk from transport links.
  • Groundbreaking technology: Our founder, Jules, is behind the core technologies powering our apps including patented motion-sensing technology used in Sleepwave and Motionscape. This is a chance to be part of something truly innovative with exciting real-world applications.
  • Socials: We are a sociable bunch, on most days there will be between 5 and 10 people in the office. In addition to our famous Christmas lunch and Christmas party, we have regular team lunches and socials.

Our design philosophy

Design is at the heart of Reviva, and it goes far beyond the aesthetic and visual aspects of our apps.

We see design as a way to transform complex data and information into intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces that genuinely help users in their daily lives and provide helpful insights on their health and well being.

Whether it’s giving users a simple way to track their sleep with Sleepwave, helping them understand their snoring and explore different solutions with SnoreLab, or simply providing a space to relax and unwind with Motionscape, our goal is to empower people with tools that not only work well and look great but are actually meaningful.

Our design philosophy is deeply linked to the origins of the company. Our founder Jules Goldberg designed and developed the app SnoreLab by himself, in order to better understand his own snoring and discover solutions. This hands-on, problem-solving approach shapes the way we design today. We don’t see users as mere statistics but as real people who turn to our apps looking for solutions.

Recruitment process

  • An initial phone call with our Design Manager.
  • A 45-minute interview with our App Manager & Design Manager.
  • A skills task.
  • A final online/in-person interview with our Head of Marketing & Relationship Manager.
