Job Description
Intermission Film is looking for a Junior Producer to join our dynamic and fast-growing print team based in Shoreditch, London. A passion for film, TV and design is essential. The role of Junior Producer is to collaborate with internal departments to support and orchestrate the successful execution of complex artwork campaigns from initial research and strategy through development to delivery. With the support of Producers and Head of Production, you will work directly with clients while managing internal resources, budget tracking and status reporting to ensure the delivery of products are on time, on budget and match our high creative standards. You will be working on a range of creative projects from Studios, Streamers, Independents and directly with filmmakers. Intermission strives to create the best work possible, creating iconic campaigns that capture the imagination of a global audience.
A passion for film and TV is essential. This is an in-person role.
What you will do…
- Support Producers and Head of Production with marketing campaign content creation, while also leading on select projects
- Work closely with the team to collaborate on the scheduling of projects and resource management
- Work with clients and internal teams to understand positioning, messaging, budget and target demographic
- Work collaboratively with various departments, including but not limited to: Creative Directors, Producers, Creative Content, Graphics, Copy Writers and Finance
- Write briefs, communicate concepts and supervise execution - ensure that creative output meets and exceeds client expectations
- Contribute to the positioning decks and moodboards, concepting and editing ideas and references alongside the wider team
- Research and source designers, photographers and retouchers. Book them in for projects accordingly and create a black book of contacts
- Oversee the workflow of a project – from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Review projects and ensure the integrity of creative, cost and strategic positioning
- Maintain positive, productive and professional relationships with all internal staff and external clients
- Make final decisions with the Creative Director and the design team on creative work in line with the client's needs
- Ensure all your projects are reconciled and invoiced by month end and cost projections are kept up to date
- Ensure all materials/deliverables are cleared and licensed, and supplied via the appropriate partners in the correct format – an excellent eye for quality control
- Develop good negotiation skills
What we need from you…
- 3 years+ industry experience, in a creative agency, advertising agency, client or entertainment marketing team
- Great creative eye and sense of visual storytelling
- Awareness of all phases of pre-production, production and post-production
- Self-motivated, diligent and proactive
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, creatively problem solve and multitask
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask in a reactive environment with quick turnaround times
- Discreet and tactful with an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and data protection
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Keen interest in film and TV, and enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Experience dealing with outdoor campaigns and knowledge of their requirements preferred
