Job Description

After an incredibly successful year of design opportunities in 2021, we've carried that momentum into 2022. The freelance market is holding strong with new vacancies surfacing quite frequently, and we are excited to meet a new generation of talent with the aim of helping to nourish professional careers, and to expand upon our roster of representation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for talented Freelance Midweight Designers, or Art Directors, who have working experience across disciplines such as; brand identity, digital, editorial, motion, retail & environments, or packaging. We would kindly emphasise: Midweight level please.

You are ideally based London and will have roughly 3-6 years industry experience, whether from a creative / design agency or in-house studio. You might be a designer who has recently come out of a permanent position and looking to work as a freelancer? Or, you may be an established freelancer who is yet to approach us.

We're interested in meeting conceptual thinkers and creatives who demonstate an elevated craft in their work. Practical knowledge and skill sets across print, typography, digital, brand guidelines, campaign rollouts, even motion graphics, are all desireable.

Please note that is an open-call for freelance designers and art directors for us to review towards possible future collaboration, and not a job-listing to fill a particular vacancy. We take great care in pairing the right talent with with our clients, and vice-versa. In doing so we aim to ensure that all candidates and clients receive the best possible recruitment journey.

Who are we?

We are Represent, a London-based recruitment agency working with the world’s best graphic designers, art directors, motion and digital designers, and more.

We partner with world-class brands and agencies, helping each to achieve long-term success through trust, transparency and relationships built on a personalised, bespoke service.

We’re also passionate about nurturing the future generation of world-leading creative talent, and regularly offer practical guidance and inspirational advice in educational institutions throughout Europe.

It’s important for us to be a part of the design conversation too, so we produce in-depth projects looking at the hot topics affecting our sector today, including fair and equal pay, harnessing flexible working and the importance of increasing diversity in the workplace.
