WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO

We’re looking for a passionate, creative Graphic Designer to come in and play a key part of the Design team, you will be an integral part of ensuring that the vision and creative ambition of the Company is achieved in all visual content across all Jamie Oliver Restaurants Brands. As a Mid-Weight Designer you will utilise your creative flair to produce visual concepts and ideas that captivate and capture the various Jamie Oliver Restaurants brand identities. You will ensure that the brands are well represented across all platforms such as the Company website, social media content, our restaurant estate and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the wider Design team, Marketing and Editorial team members, taking
  • designs and artwork from conception through to completion
  • Maintaining quality checks on all design projects within agreed timelines
  • Assist with ensuring a consistency and standard of design and aesthetic across the business
  • Create and produce original and fun motion graphics and animation covering video end cards,
  • digital promotional screens and social media content
  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts based on requirements by making decisions about fonts,
  • images, readability and readers’ needs
  • Produce visual concepts and graphic designs on presentations
  • Lead the visual direction for restaurant marketing and sales driving campaigns
  • Support menu changes through updating and evolving menu designs
  • Support with feedback and guidance to franchise partners across all brand assets
  • Confidently present designs and visual concepts and provide solutions to stakeholders within the
  • Company, consistently driving the creativity of projects, then amending briefs based on feedback
  • Provide photographic art direction, photo shoot support and photo editing

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Ideally you’ll have qualifications in graphic design or a related field / relevant industry experience - a minimum of 4+ years experience in both print and digital formats
  • You’ll be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • If you have experience in Canva that would be great
  • Strong graphic design and typography skills, and an advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in Motion Graphics (After Effects animation, dynamic typography and editing in Premiere etc.)
  • Able to work at pace, to tight deadlines and organise your time well
  • You’ll be creative, forward thinking and innovative
