Collective Act is looking for a Marketing Officer to support the delivery of the Dreamachine Programme in 2023. The programme includes the international tour of Dreamachine, the 5* immersive art experience;, The Perception Census – the first of its kind research study into perceptual diversity;, and an interdisciplinary accredited schools programme as well as family learning resources..

Dreamachine is a one-of-a-kind immersive work, created by Collective Act, in collaboration with Turner Prize-winning artists Assemble, Grammy and Mercury nominated composer Jon Hopkins, and a team of leading technologists, scientists and philosophers. After a sell-out tour of the UK in 2022, Dreamachine is now preparing to tour the globe. https://dreamachine.world/

The Marketing Officer will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the wider team to deliver a campaign to ensure the Dreamachine programme continues to reach its audience engagement objectives. The main responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Deliver engaging creative assets and materials to support the Dreamachine programme;
  • Support the delivery of multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns across print and digital;
  • Support audience development opportunities through creative partnerships with relevant brands, influencers and ambassadors, partners and community organisations, helping to maximise beneficial marketing opportunities;
  • Develop new content for multiple channels (blogs, emails, social media) that tell the story of the Dreamachine programme; and
  • Support the development of Dreamachine brand projects including films, reports and brand guidelines.

The successful candidate will have marketing experience gained in similar roles delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns in creative organisations. You will have a strong creative and visual instinct with excellent writing skills and an interest and aptitude for finding imaginative ways to bring stories to life and engage new and diverse audiences. You will be creative and curious, driven by a passion for being part of this once-in-a-lifetime project and, importantly, you will be up for getting stuck in to support the team and be proactive about what needs to be done.
