The Opportunity
At The Duck and Rice, we celebrate the meeting of refined Chinese cuisine with London’s iconic pub culture—and we’re looking for a creative, thoughtful Marketing Lead to help us share that story.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice and visibility of a brand loved for its elegance, energy, and distinctive character. You’ll join our close-knit creative team, working alongside the Creative Director to express our identity across every channel—from digital storytelling to experiential campaigns. Your goal: to grow our Tribe, elevate our digital presence, and ensure every guest interaction feels distinctly Duck and Rice.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll lead day-to-day marketing and communications, playing an essential role in the guest experience—before they even step through our doors. From digital strategy to PR, CRM to partnerships, your work will bring clarity, consistency, and warmth to how we show up in the world.
Your Key Focus Areas
Insight & Awareness
– Stay in tune with market trends and audience insights across hospitality and lifestyle.
– Analyse campaign performance and guide improvements with clean, insightful data.
Planning & Collaboration
– Build strong relationships across departments—from creative to kitchen.
– Develop seasonal campaign plans and digital content calendars.
– Manage budgets with an eye toward thoughtful investment and return.
Execution & Engagement
– Nurture partnerships with media, digital platforms, and third-party agencies.
– Shape our presence on platforms like SquareMeal, TimeOut, and SevenRooms.
– Lead our voice across email, social media, and web—bringing daily content to life.
Content & Brand Expression
– Write with clarity and heart—whether it’s an Instagram post or a press release.
– Keep the brand story consistent across every guest touchpoint.
– Stay inspired by trends in digital, culture, and design.
