About the role:

A Production Assistant works within the integrated production team, alongside a Producer, to support and help manage a project & the eventual output of our agency. PA’s get to work across all disciplines (Stills, Television & Digital media) as well as Experiential projects, managed by HOPA’s & HOP (Head of Production Assistants and Heads of Production).

We always want to be the best production team in town, producing the best creative and crafted work.

Mother produces a large volume of multi-discipline campaigns that involve a wide variety of specialist production partners and inter-agency relationships. The success and creativity of Mother is entwined with the success of our productions and therefore it is key that we strive to be the best we can be, driving our success as a team and an agency.

Key responsibilities:

• Supports the day to day running of production, working with permanent & freelance producers

• Assists in the management of pre-production, PPM prep, casting, props, wardrobe etc

• Helps on set to ensure the smooth running of the shoot and helping with client requests

• Manages the payments and invoicing processes / reconciliations on projects

• Co-ordinates bookings, diaries, travel & resources across all aspects of a campaign

• Opportunities to run small scale productions, build production knowledge & be client facing

• General departmental administration as required, lending a hand to the wider agency

• Achieves an understanding, knowledge and appreciation of modern entertainment; potential production partners (directors/photographers/production companies) and work out in our industry and other creatively led industries.

Our dream hire will posses:

• An interest in all disciplines and media when making advertising materials
• Thorough organisational skills and attention to detail, a team player with a hands-on attitude
• Ability to take direction, prioritise workload, stick to deadlines and unafraid of asking questions.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office package – as well as being creatively motivated
• Helpful to have some knowledge of the production process, from pre-production through to post-production. Plus some knowledge of talent/music/stock usages
• A collaberational approach in everything they do, and a love of building relationships.
