THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re on the search for a self-starting, ambitious Account Director looking for their next big challenge. Working alongside our Client Partner, you will be joining our team of strategic & creative talent and will be focussed on the growth of some of our biggest clients and the delivery of their projects, all whilst ensuring we maintain and continue to level-up the client experience.

You will also play a supporting role to our new business activity, regularly pitching and presenting to brands to fuel new business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Live and breathe our agency values every day
  • Building and developing senior relationships with key clients
  • Ownership and successful execution of client growth strategies for a number of key accounts, including the delivery of regular progress reports
  • Production of client forecasts and delivery of agency client targets
  • Day-to-day lead key accounts ensuring immaculate standards of client experience
  • Oversight, support and leadership of your team of Account Managers to ensure high standards of project delivery and account management are delivered across all live projects
  • First escalation point for our wider Client Services team and clients
  • Management and delegation of project work to a team of Account and Senior Account Managers
  • Accurate scoping and costing of projects
  • Ownership of the commercial aspects of projects and key client accounts, ensuring profitability through on time, on budget delivery
  • Support and forward planning of projects alongside our resource function
  • Relentless reporting on the impact of our work for our clients, enabling us to celebrate successes, learn from failures and create impactful case studies that generate new business opportunities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Direct experience as an Account Director for a minimum of 12 months in an integrated creative or digital agency
  • Ability to quickly build solid partnerships and trust with clients & stakeholders by understanding and adding value to their brand(s), product(s), sector(s), audiences(s), challenges and objectives and ensuring that these are all front of mind within the agency teams
  • Exceptional and proven account handling and project management skills across a wide range of clients, sectors and marketing challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Direct experience of managing a team of AM’s / SAM’s, being able to balance the demands of project delivery and the equally important responsibility for their ongoing mentorship and professional development
  • Comfortable operating in both a strategic and creative environment and ability to lead internal and client conversations in these spaces
  • A proven track record of strategically growing profitable client accounts
  • A history of successful digital and content-led projects delivered on time, on budget and with demonstrable positive client feedback
  • A clear understanding of agency project process from Strategy through Creative to Production and strong brief and scope writing skills
  • A commercial eye and the ability to identify and maximise opportunities for growth
  • A highly organised multi-tasker with an impeccable attention to detail, excellent written English and numeracy skills
  • Articulate, professional and personable with excellent time management

  • Half day Friday’s all year round (with a goal to move to a 4 day week in 2022)
