Job Description

London based (Victoria), hybrid with flexible hours - must be able and willing to travel globally

Salary TBC depending on experience

Start date: February 2026

Who We Are

Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ (SLH) matches independently minded guests with independently spirited hotels. The diverse collection of more than 650 hotels in 90+ countries around the world includes everything from cutting edge design hotels and city centre sanctuaries to historic country mansions and remote private islands – all SLH hotels are consistently different, however, they are all united by the fact that they offer the best locations, highest quality, personalised service and a truly authentic way to discover a destination.

We turned the luxury boutique hotel into a phenomenon back in 1990 and since then we’ve gone to every major capital, taken the path less travelled and journeyed to the edge of the map to seek out and select the distinctive, the diverse and the downright delightful.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer/Editor to join our team in London, based in the UK head office, with the ability to travel extensively globally. This is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Content and working alongside the wider Marketing, Communications and Content team.

As our Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for producing and editing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand’s image and captures the essence of our independently spirited hotels. You will work across a range of media platforms, from social media to marketing campaigns, ensuring each piece of content is visually stunning, on-brand, and engaging for our target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality footage of our properties, events, and brand campaigns for a variety of digital platforms.

• Edit raw footage into polished, brand-consistent videos for social media, website, and other marketing channels.

• Work with the communications and marketing team to ensure that all video content supports the brand's messaging and marketing objectives.

• Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and more.

• Attend key sales, media, influencer and hotelier events to capture behind-the-scenes footage.

• Manage video asset libraries and ensure easy access for cross-department use.

• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all video content.

• Stay updated on video production trends, technologies, and social media developments to keep the content fresh and innovative.

• Continuously suggest new ways to elevate our video content strategy.

• Coordinate travel itineraries/logistics to SLH hotels worldwide.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Videographer/Editor in the hospitality, luxury, or lifestyle industries (portfolio required).

• Expertise in video production and editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

• Experience with drone footage and aerial videography.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and their video content best practices.

• An exceptional eye for visual storytelling, cinematography, and editing with an emphasis on luxury.

• Ability to shoot high-quality video with a professional-level camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema camera – equipment to be provided by SLH).

• Excellent understanding of lighting, sound, and camera angles to create visually engaging content.

• Knowledge of video SEO to optimize content for social media platforms.

• Creative mindset with a passion for bringing fresh, innovative ideas to life.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments to bring ideas to fruition.

• Ability to manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A deep appreciation for the luxury hotel industry and its customer experience.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.
