Job Description

INK is a post-production studio based in London, New York, Paris and Amsterdam. We partner with industry-leading photographers and brands to create outstanding fashion and beauty imagery, ranging from global advertising campaigns to indie publications.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven Midweight Retoucher to join our London studio on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a refined visual eye, and a genuine passion for photography and image-making. You will work with a degree of independence while continuing to learn from senior team members, contributing creatively and technically to the final output and supporting the overall quality and culture of the studio.

Working as part of the Retouch team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality retouching across a variety of projects, managing your own workload, and working to briefs with increasing autonomy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing creative environment, takes pride in consistency and craftsmanship, and is motivated to continue developing their skillset.

We foster an environment that encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentoring, supporting both individual growth and collective excellence. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

  • Confident handling of colour grading and print treatments
  • Ability to retouch a broad range of photographic styles to a high standard
  • Experience working to client briefs and brand guidelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Experience retouching for fashion or beauty brands preferred
  • Painting and drawing skills advantageous but not essential
  • Interest in evolving workflows, techniques and software
