Prodigy is looking for a talented and passionate Mid – Senior Level Graphic Designer to join our Battersea-based team, on a 9 month maternity cover contract.

We make delicious chocolate that enables all of us to make healthier choices for ourselves and our planet every single day. Chocolate that contains no refined sugar or plastic, is low in natural sugar, plant-based, gluten and dairy free, compostable, biodegradable and palm oil free too.

We love chocolate. We’ve always loved chocolate, but somewhere along the road, it lost its way. So, we decided to bring real chocolate back, only better.

The Role

Starting mid-November and employed as maternity cover (9 month contract) the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs that drive engagement, conversion and build brand awareness.

You'll be responsible for leading the creative direction across various design projects, spanning packaging, branding, digital, print, and retail POS. The role will require you to consistently apply your expertise to enhance and broaden the Prodigy brand.

Key Responsibilities

Creative concept generation.

Act as a brand guardian; ensuring all design work adheres to our existing visual identity and creates a consistent and seamless experience across all touchpoints.

Lead all creative (briefs and projects), delivering incredible outputs to tight deadlines.

Roll out marketing campaigns across multiple touchpoints.

Art direct film and photography, including professional photoshoots.

Liaise directly with the design team and wider Prodigy team to ensure excellent quality and consistency across all media.

Manage all artwork for print.

Liaise with external print production suppliers, photographers and relevant third parties.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer.

Excellent attention to detail.

Great organisational, teamwork and time management skills.

Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD.

Experience in responsive web design and content strategy.

Knowledge of 3D, Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro.

Knowledge of materials and print production process.

Photographic knowledge (will art direct several photoshoots a year).

Ability to produce high-end creative design concepts for print, digital and visual identity.

Ability to oversee production (quality control through development and production stages).

Ability to work to deadlines and juggle multiple projects.

Effective communication and typographic skills.

Good presentation skills.

A curious, keen eye for innovative designs and trends.

An interest in contributing to the studio culture and team dynamic.
