Freelance Junior Graphic Designer

This role is freelance based. We are a mainly remote team, however there are occasional in-person meetings and events which require attendance in London. 3 days per week for 8 months. Ideal start is beginning of May.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to work with a small design team across multiple brands within the health and wellness industry. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand identity through visually appealing designs across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start a career in design, working across multiple brands and design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Creating visuals for social media (organic and paid), email newsletters and digital advertisements
• Creating email content across two brands, driving customer engagement, retention, and ticket sales.
• Website maintenance (collaborating with the design team to update website content)
• Optimise website graphics for faster loading times and improved user experience.
• Post production for webinars and podcasts across multiple brands (using a dedicated platform)
• Marketing and design for industry events
• Brand collateral design and print production management
• Promotional collateral design and print production management
• Branding opportunities for specific health and wellness events
• Design and format documents such as educational tools, product catalogues, brochures, and sales presentations
• Work closely with the design team to brainstorm ideas, concepts, and strategies for upcoming campaigns.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for health and wellness is desirable.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines
• Experience in AE or Premier is a plus.
• Experience with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
