About us:

Among Equals is a creative agency based in Old Street, London. Set up in the middle of the pandemic (our mums said we were mad, but it’s all worked out), we make brands and campaigns for a massive range of clients – from startups to charities to big businesses. We’re idea-driven, fast-paced and growing quickly. And we have the world’s cutest office dog.

The role:

We’re looking for a multi-disciplined creative who can help us create award-winning work across our client base. You’ll be an amazing designer - obsessed with ideas (and if you’re into puns, even better). You’ll be up for solving complex challenges, love working independently as well as with the team, and enjoy working on a wide range of projects. And you’ll be excited by the prospect of joining an early-stage agency – and being part of our growth.

You will:

  • Come up with groundbreaking ideas – for brands and campaigns – all with a clear rationale and compelling hook
  • Realise those ideas with excellent design (ace if you can animate too)
  • Work on projects from end to end – pitch to concept to guidelines/assets
  • Get involved in pitches – coming up with winning ideas, working on creative, auditing competitors
  • Feel happy presenting work - to the team and clients
  • Be interested in strategy and how to translate it into creative
  • Take a practical, no bullshit approach
  • Enjoy working on all sorts of different stuff – from full brand creation to campaign ideas to pop up shops to packaging to everything in-between
  • Collaborate – with the team, with clients, with partners. No ego, just loads of fun and ideas.
  • Be up for coming into the office. We're flexible (people have lives, we get it) but we usually come in 3+ days and are looking for someone who'd enjoy being here.

You'll have:

  • At least two years’ experience in a commercial setting, working across multiple sectors
  • A rich and diverse portfolio of creative work
  • Great technical skills – Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma (and After Effects would be ideal)
  • A drive to learn and grow with a young exciting agency
