Midweight 3D Exhibition Designer

📍 Old Street, London | Full-time | Permanent Contract | £33,000 - £42,000

Are you excited by the idea of bringing stories to life through engaging museum and gallery exhibitions? Casson Mann is looking for a Midweight 3D Exhibition Designer to join our creative, friendly team of 25 in Old Street, London.

We are an established award-winning exhibition and interior design studio, passionate about creating inspiring spaces that connect with diverse audiences. This role is a great opportunity for a designer who wants to take ownership of projects, collaborate with cultural institutions, and see their work realised in some of the world’s most exciting exhibitions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading smaller design projects or parts of larger ones with support from senior designers

• Developing exhibition concepts and creating presentation drawings, models, and construction documents

• Guiding and mentoring junior designers

• Working directly with clients, contractors, and suppliers

• Contributing to written stage reports and exhibition description sheets

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in exhibition or interior design

• Degree (or equivalent) in exhibition/interior design

• Strong proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D design software

• Confident communicator with excellent collaborative skills

• Ability to combine conceptual thinking with practical detailing and delivery

• A passion for museums, galleries, and storytelling through design

• Knowledge of working in museums, including sensitive objects and within historic buildings

• Experience in dealing with contractors and managing client relationships

Bonus points for:

• Experience with 3D rendering packages or film editing software

• Knowledge of AV-based exhibition design

• French language skills
