Your role

As the Digital Content Creator, you will be the driving force behind our online storytelling. Your creativity, design skills, and strategic thinking will help us engage with our audience, convey our mission, and achieve our business goals.

What will you be doing?

● Visual storytelling: Capture captivating image and video content for use across all digital channels. Your ability to wield both DSLR cameras and mobile phones will enable you to create visually stunning content that resonates with our audience.

● Creative design: Design and edit digital assets that align with our brand identity. Your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premier Pro, will empower you to create compelling visuals that captivate and engage.

● Compelling copywriting: Write persuasive social and digital copy using information from press releases and notes.

● Strategic social media planning: Develop and execute a-r-c-s' social media strategy, collaborating closely with the team to create an engaging narrative that achieves our business goals.

● Asset management: Request and receive social assets from internal and external sources. Your organisational skills will ensure that we have a rich library of resources to draw from.

● Performance analysis: Utilise social media metrics to analyse and report on the performance of our social media channels.

● Scheduling and posting: Coordinate the scheduling and posting of social media assets, maintaining a consistent and engaging online presence.

● Content organisation: Ensure that all digital content is well-organised and stored correctly on internal systems, streamlining content creation and retrieval.

● Trends and ethics: Stay up-to-date with social media and digital trends, as well as current ethical issues surrounding social media. Your commitment to ethical standards will ensure that our content upholds the highest standards and supports a-r-c-s' mission.

● Upholding policies: Work diligently to uphold our documented social and environmental policies and procedures, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and positive impact.

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

● Artistic background: Experience working in a studio or with a degree (or equivalent) in an art or camera-based subject will bring a unique perspective to your content creation.

● Visual content expertise: Your experience in capturing image and video content using DSLR cameras and mobile phones will allow you to create captivating visuals that tell compelling stories.

● Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency: Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier Pro, is essential. Knowledge of additional Adobe apps will be advantageous.

● Engaging social media content: Your experience in designing, creating, and executing engaging social media content will enable you to connect with our audience effectively.

● Copywriting skills: Your ability to craft engaging digital copy for various channels will ensure that our message is conveyed effectively and resonates with our audience.

● Social media management: Experience in managing major social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram and Facebook, will be critical for driving engagement and growth.

● Analytical & Technical Proficiency: Your adeptness in utilising social media analytics tools to monitor and report on social media performance will drive data driven decisions. Additionally, your familiarity with website content management systems will bolster effective content dissemination.

● Strong communication: Your confident, articulate, and personable communication style will facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
